About the Role
On behalf of GravIT, Workforce Extensions is seeking an experienced Web Specialist to join their Geelong team. This role is perfect for someone with strong WordPress experience, particularly in eCommerce, along with a solid understanding of website maintenance, hosting, and online advertising tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support WordPress websites, including eCommerce platforms.
- Manage cPanel hosting environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure website performance.
- Work with Google Measurement Tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) and Google Ads for tracking and optimisation.
- Manage domain names, including basic DNS configurations.
- Assist with SSL certificate installations and renewals.
- Exposure to Shopify is an advantage but not essential.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms.
- Understanding of cPanel hosting, backups, and server-side configurations.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.
- Ability to troubleshoot DNS and domain management issues.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates and security best practices.
- Bonus: Experience with Shopify or other web platforms.
