Warehouse Manager

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Warehouse and Distribution Manager to join their team.

As Warehouse and Distribution Manager, you will engage and lead your team to drive performance in the achievement of established goals. Providing front line operational support, you will ensure customer service levels are maximised and supply rates are achieved on an ongoing continuous basis. Located in Truganina, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

As a leader within the business, you will play an instrumental role in creating and implementing processes and procedures, driving best practice, team performance management and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiencies and improve operational performance.

You have the following qualities & qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within Supply Chain/Logistics
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain logistics within an FMCG environment
• Superior knowledge of warehouse operations within a 3PL environment
• 3+ years' managing teams with strong leadership experience
• Exceptional end to end knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
• Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
• Outstanding customer relationship attributes and a strong customer service focus
• Highly developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills

• Significant experience in inventory management within high-transaction, warehouse, or supply chain environments, with strong knowledge of inventory control systems and variance analysis.
• Skilled in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and data tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with a solid analytical approach to report generation.
• Superior leadership skills, able to build rapport quickly and effectively to create a highly collaborative working environment
• Proven experience in team management, change management, and driving employee engagement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and resilience and able to recover from setbacks
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment
