We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Traffic Controllers to join our team, in a Wollongong NSW Location.
Work Starting Late Feburury Early March 2025, with great rates and ongoing training and career development opportunities.
Must Have the Following:
- Current Traffic Controller ticket (Traffic Control qualification is essential).
- White Card
- Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Previous experience in traffic control
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage traffic flow at work sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices, such as signs, cones, and barriers.
- Communicate effectively with motorists and pedestrians to ensure compliance with traffic control plans.
- Ensure traffic control plans are adhered to, following relevant state and federal safety guidelines.
- Work closely with construction teams to manage road closures, diversions, and traffic-related disruptions.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any traffic incidents or accidents.
