Team Leader - Afternoon Shift

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Team Leader to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business our client, has a exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, to join the growing warehouse team in Campbellfield starting on Day shift, then moving across to Afternoon Shift.

You must be available to work, Dayshift is Monday to Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 6am 12pm and Afternoon is Mon-Thurs 3pm-11pm, Friday 12pm-6pm. Our client is a global industry leader in the manufacturing of bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protecting products used in the building and construction industries around the world. This is a great opportunity to expand your current skill base. The pay rate will be Dayshift $41.25ph amd Afternoon Shift is $47.44ph + Pen+ Super. This is a temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum of at least 5 years at supervisor level, managing staff.
• Current Forklift licence, (Essential)
• Understanding of and commitment to OH&S and QA policies and procedures.

• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability with Excellent communication skills
• Experience coordinating and implementing production schedules meet deadlines and client requirements with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.

• Australian Residency (Essential)
• Demonstrated experience and proven track record in Production Coordination and Supervision within an assembly/ production environment with a stable employment history.
• The ability to work to KPI's and demonstrates accountability.
• Proven leadership skills as a HANDS-ON DOER - ability to mentor a small team to achieve quality and efficiency.
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and tasks with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
• Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable.
