WE are pleased to be supporting the team in seeking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This broad position is perfect for anyone who loves variety in their work as you will perform a number of duties from hands on tasks to customer service and administration.

This position will oversee the service & repairs operation to make sure that safety standards and job completion is flowing smoothly and efficiently.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Customer Service - Be first point of contact and keep customers updated on job progress
  • Planning & Scheduling- Organise and prepare appropriate parts and labour for each job
  • Supervision - Manage all shop floor staff, providing feedback, tools, and resources to meet targets
  • Finance - Ensure all jobs completed within the cost allocated per job (materials & parts & labour)
  • Health & Safety - promote and actively contribute to a safe work environment
  • Process Improvement - Contribute to initiatives to support business and job improvements.

Ideally, we are seeking candidates who can demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience;

  • Ability to perform hands on tasks when required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with effective problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Forklift license & Truck Licence (preferred, not essential)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Caravan industry experience desirable but not essential
  • Electrical, knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of OHS
  • Strong commitment to reliability and demonstrated work ethic
  • A current and valid driver's licence
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools
