Workforce Extensions Geelong are collaborating with Rixon Hairdressing who are based in the heart of the Geelong CBD, to recruit a Salon Assistant for Part-time work.
While working at Rixon's, you can expect:
- A fun, energetic team with great culture
- Hours will be rostered from Tuesday to Saturday
- Minimum of 12 hours per week, with the potential to increase to up to 30 hours during peak periods
Duties include
- Preparation of clients for cutting and styling, including shampooing, treatment, and massage.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the salon, including sweeping, mopping, dishes and organising workstations and equipment.
- Preparation and rinsing of clients for colour services
- Client Greeting and Seating
- Tea and coffee services
- Daily open and shut-down duties
What we are looking for:
- An enthusiastic, great communicator who takes initiative
- A history of working in hair & beauty or hospitality is ideal, but not essential.
Must haves:
- Excellent presentation
- An upbeat, warm personality
- Confident in meeting all types of new people
- Can-Do attitude & willingness to support others
