Our client is currently seeking an EXPERIENCED and HIGHLY MOTIVATED SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join their dynamic team.

With a strong emphasis on meeting monthly sales targets and actively generating new leads, the role will require you to service the North West suburbs, Geelong and Regional Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years work experience on the road with proven results (preferably with a background / knowledge in hardware sales).

You will be responsible for generating new business and managing leads provided by the internal sales office, engaging with clients to conduct site visits as well as closing inbound sales.

Permanent, full time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Servicing the North West suburbs, Geelong and regional Victoria
  • On the road sales
  • Maintain and expand existing client relationships and new accounts
  • Generating new clients/business & closing inbound sales leads (including initiating contact with clients to schedule site visits)
  • Cold calling for new customers
  • Processing sales orders
  • Log all client information and the site visit outcomes into the CRM system promptly and accurately
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales budgets through effective sales strategies
  • Generate weekly sales funnel pipeline reports and monthly budget reports to track progress and identify opportunities for growth
  • Be proactive in generating new leads by scheduling meetings with potential clients and exploring new markets
  • Complete and submit detailed order forms for shipment of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends to offer the best solutions to clients

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experienced Sales Representative preferably with a background in hardware sales
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years work experience on the road with proven results
  • Proven experience in sales, with a successful track record in meeting sales targets
  • Experience with computers/packages (eg. proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and prospects
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite for sales tracking and reporting
  • Ability to conduct precise measurements and provide detailed technical information for custom orders
  • Self-motivated and proactive in generating leads and securing sales opportunities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work outside of traditional office hours when necessary to meet client needs
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leads and projects efficiently
