As a Registered Nurse with Workforce Extensions, you will become an integral part of a dedicated and passionate team who believe in providing quality care to health facilities across Australia. Work with us in Australia's leading aged care facilities across southeast Melbourne, Bayside, eastern suburbs, Melbourne CBD and the scenic Mornington Peninsula & Geelong region.

About the role

Duties

• Provide management & leadership to care staff & encourage an environment that is based on teamwork & a committed consumer focus
• Demonstrated competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical assessment and relevant documentation (essential)
• Provide emotional support with residents in accordance with the values and standards practiced within our valued client's facility settings
• Ability to be flexible and quick to adjust
• Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary care
• Work collaboratively within teams
• Willingness to learn and interact with new people and systems
• Strict adherence to facility and governmental accreditation standards

Skills & Experience

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
• Exceptional time management and customer service skill
• Knowledgeable of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Value teamwork and collaboration
• Exhibit a passion for making a different in the lives of residents
• Aged care experience (highly regarded)
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current National Police Check
• Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
• A positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
