About the role


Join our valued and highly rewarded team of casually on-hired nurses and care staff in delivering superior clinical outcomes for patients, family and staff in Australia's leading health and aged care organisations.

We currently have a high demand for RN shifts (Aged Care) in Townsville. This is a great opportunity for motivated RN's wanting to pick up extra shifts.

Duties


RNs who join are team will be expected to:

  • Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary clinical support
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to assess and meet the physical, psychological and emotional needs of residents in accordance with the values and standards practiced within our valued client's facility settings
  • Practice with a deep understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • Willingly learn and interact with new IT systems
  • Adhere to facility and governmental accreditation standards of documentation, assessments, and care planning.

Skills & Experience


Successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in RN postion
  • Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
  • Value teamwork and collaboration
  • Exhibit a passion for making a different in the lives of residents
  • Aged care experience (highly regarded)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A positive "can-do" attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
