We at Workforce Extensions are proud to be supporting Chief Group in seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer to join their team.

Typical responsibilities will include;

  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead and manage project teams, including contractors and external consultants
  • End to end management of supplier/contractor documentation
  • Assist with preparation of tenders and quotations from start to finish
  • Provide support and guidance to team members
  • Promptly respond to client and stakeholder queries
  • Ensuring a safe work practice in line with company policies and procedures
  • Work individually and in a team environment
  • Contribute to client negotiations
  • Provide progress reports
  • Research environmental considerations

About you

To be considered for this position we are seeking applications from candidates who possess the following experience, skills, attributes and qualifications;

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering/civil construction
  • Previous experience working on civil projects in either Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer roles
  • Exceptional prioritisation and organisational skills, including working to strict deadlines
  • Strong HSE knowledge
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work manage own workloads
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Current drivers' licence
