Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Plant Manager - Concrete to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business, our client is one of Victoria's leading producers of concrete, crushed rock and aggregates and using predominantly recycled materials.

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Plant Manager - Concrete to become an integral part of the team.

Based across Melbourne's Western and Northern locatations the position will be responsible for managing and driving performance and customer satisfaction within our concrete business.

What you'll be doing

The Plant Managers - Concrete are responsible for the overall operation, coordination and management of fixed assets (batching plant), mobile assets (agitator trucks) and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promoting a healthy and safe work environment.
• Customer satisfaction.
• Leadership and management of staff and contractors.
• Batching concrete loads to agitator trucks.
• Operational improvements, including driving efficiency and utilisation of plants and trucks.
• Managing and tracking plant compliance (safety, environment), maintenance, finances and quality.
• Working with the safety, operations, sales and finance teams to ensure that we achieve our objectives.
