About the role

About the Role

• Support residents who can't move on their own (manual handling)
• Assist residents in their daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating etc
• Provide emotional support
• Ensure residents to receive their medication on time (competency dependant)
• Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary care
• Work collaboratively within teams
• Willingness to learn and interact with new people and systems
• Strict adherence to facility and governmental accreditation standards

Skills & Experience

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
• Exceptional time management and customer service skills
• Manual handling certificate
• Value teamwork and collaboration
• Exhibit a passion for making a different in the lives of residents
• Aged care experience (highly regarded)
• Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or similar) or be working towards nursing certification (must have completed either aged care/acute placement)
• Current National Police Check
• Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
• A positive "can-do" attitude
• Kitchen, laundry or housekeeping skills are highly regarded.
