The team at Workforce Extensions Geelong are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the Charlemont site encompassing all day-to-day operations and responsibilities. The Operations Manager oversees the functionality of the manufacturing facility in a hands-on manner, taking accountabilities for all day-to-day activities and team performance. Ensuring we deliver on operational strategies aligned with safety, people, performance and quality, the Operations Manager supports resource optimisation whilst driving a continuous improvement environment and assists in building effective teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of operations, including production, quality control and safety compliance.
• Drive customer engagement and have a clear focus on business development.
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Manage and empower a team of direct reports, delegating tasks, providing guidance/coaching, monitoring performance, and identifying development opportunities within your team.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimise performance and achieve financial targets.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to address operational challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
• HR Management.

• Proven experience in operations/branch management or in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
