Maintenance Assistant

Workforce Extensions Geelong are working with a long-standing business in the Geelong region who provide quality products to the logistics industry. Due to a recent opening, we are on the look-out for a Maintenance Assistant to work on-site in a Full-time role.

This role is mainly to keep woodworking machinery, mobile plant and associated equipment in good working order. Along with supporting the production staff on machine setups.

General Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on woodworking and mobile plant following safe operating procedures, including lock out procedures.
• Complete all maintenance checklists as required.
• Be involved in fault finding and rectification in breakdown situations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Welding light fabrication experience
• Pneumatic hydraulic experience
• Forklift license would be advantageous
• Use of hand and power tools
• Seeking individuals with a trade background

Working hours/days are Monday-Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm, Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
