Machine Operator

Workforce Extensions | Scoresby's client require Machine Operators in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs of Bayswater.

Position Overview:

• The Machine Operator role is responsible for the operation and general maintenance of machines. The role is hands-on and fast paced, where you will be required to work as part of a team to deliver excellent results. Full training is provided and this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career.
  
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
  
• Mechanically minded and able to problem solve.
  
• Hold a current Forklift licence (required for the role).
  
• Physically fit and able to pass a drug and alcohol screen.
  
• Willing to undergo a Police Check.
  
• Possess a safety first at all times approach to your work and your colleagues.
  
• Reliable with a positive attitude towards work.

Experience:

• Proven experience in Machine Operation in a fast paced manufacturing environment is an advantage.
  
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge through professional development and training.
  
  Working Conditions:
  
• Day, Afternoon & Night shifts available.
  
• Ongoing casual with opportunity to go permanent.
  
• The role may require occasional overtime depending on project demands.
  
• The manufacturing environment can be noisy and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in some areas of the facility.
