IT Technical Support Consultants

About Us: We are excited to offer multiple opportunities for IT Technical Support Officers to join our team as part of the 'Technical Support in Schools Program' (TSSP) in collaboration with the Victorian Department of Education. With an ever-expanding network of schools across Victoria, we provide top-notch IT support and services.

Essential Requirements:
* Victorian Working with Children Check: All candidates must either possess a Victorian Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one.
* Microsoft Server OS Expertise: Proven experience with Microsoft Server OS and related services, including:
* Active Directory
* Group Policy
* DHCP
* DNS
* Permissions
* Virtualization Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in administering Hyper-V or similar virtualization solutions, along with the ability to explain VMs hosted on-premise and in the cloud.
* Cross-Platform Support: Proven experience in supporting and administering both Windows 10/11 and Mac OS will be highly regarded.
* Communication Skills: Must possess high-level written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:
* IT Industry Experience: A minimum of 4 years of previous experience working within the IT industry.
* Education or Government Experience: Previous experience in Education or similar Government institutions is favored.
* Must have experience supporting users and hardware devices: Proven experience supporting users on a network for both software and hardware issues
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the school IT Team Lead in managing day-to-day server and network infrastructure operations.
* Participate in planning and executing future ICT rollouts, refreshes, and migrations.
* Proactively identify and resolve ICT-related issues within the organization.
* Deliver high-level desktop/server/network/application support to staff through our Help Desk portal.
* Contribute to the creation of documentation and assist in delivering ICT training to end-users.
