Funeral Arranger

## Overview

As a Funeral Arranger, you will be responsible for assisting bereaved families with making funeral arrangements and providing support during their difficult time.

## Responsibilities

• Meet with families to make funeral arrangements, including selecting burial or cremation options, choosing caskets or urns, and coordinating the details of the service
  
• Provide compassionate support and guidance to families throughout the funeral planning process
  
• Coordinate with clergy, cemetery staff, and other service providers to ensure a smooth and respectful funeral service
  
• Assist with administrative tasks such as obtaining necessary permits and completing paperwork
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  
  ## Qualifications
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• High level of empathy and compassion
  
• Professional appearance and good personal hygiene
  
• Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with tact and understanding
  
• Knowledge of funeral industry practices and procedures (preferred but not required)
  
• C class drivers licence
