## Overview
As a Funeral Arranger, you will be responsible for assisting bereaved families with making funeral arrangements and providing support during their difficult time.
## Responsibilities
- Meet with families to make funeral arrangements, including selecting burial or cremation options, choosing caskets or urns, and coordinating the details of the service
- Provide compassionate support and guidance to families throughout the funeral planning process
- Coordinate with clergy, cemetery staff, and other service providers to ensure a smooth and respectful funeral service
- Assist with administrative tasks such as obtaining necessary permits and completing paperwork
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
## Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of empathy and compassion
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with tact and understanding
- Knowledge of funeral industry practices and procedures (preferred but not required)
- C class drivers licence
