We have an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced Property Officer/Facility Coordinator looking for a steady long-term position with one of WA's private schools. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are well-maintained, functional, and contribute to a positive and safe learning environment. Applicants must be fit for work as the job requires bending, lifting and safely handle organic and chemical pesticides and sprays and undertake minor maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Duties will be:
- General building maintenance: Addressing minor repairs, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining a functional environment.
- Work order management: Effectively managing service requests, liaising with contractors, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborating with the Facilities Manager, staff, and external contractors to ensure clear communication and efficient service delivery.
- Adhering to work health and safety protocols and promoting a safe environment for all.
- Ensure vehicles are operational, clean, serviced and registered
What you need to be successful:
- Previous experience in property/facility maintenance.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- WHS White Card
- Driver's licence.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) & Police clearance are essential
- Working At Heights ticket and Chemical Application cert preferred or willing to obtain.
