Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Assembly staff to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown, you'll play a pivotal role in assembling cutting-edge electrical switchboard facilities. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift 7am-3.06pm for a short period, then moved onto Afternoonshift 3.00pm - 11.06pm. Monday - Friday , for a highly motivated Assembly staff, to become an integral part of the team. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Assemble electrical switchboard parts and sub-assemblies with precision and care, knowing that your craftsmanship contributes to the reliability of essential infrastructure.
• Utilise your expertise to interpret complex engineering drawings accurately, ensuring seamless integration of components.
• Harness the power of advanced hand and machine tools to streamline production processes and maximise efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory willingness to learn and work as a team essential.
• Physically Fit and healthy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work closely with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
