About The Role

As a Fabricator Welder at Tommy Campers your role will see you being responsible for meeting day to day sheet metal production requirements, assisting with product improvement and various custom requirements. Your proficient use of hand and power tools, with strong attention to detail will ensure all Tommy Camper components are built to the highest quality standards.

It's important to have pride in maintaining and keeping all equipment in a safe working order, a willingness to advise upline staff of any issues if/when they arise, and ability to use your initiative. Working in modern facilities, you'll enjoy the support of an experienced and diverse team, where your input is valued, with opportunities to grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fit custom built Aluminium trays.
• Operation of CNC machines and Press Brakes to assist with broader manufacturing of slide on campers and canopies.
• Working with Draftsman to update and modify CAD files.

If you have the following skills, experience and attributes then lets talk

• Trade qualified (or solid professional experience) in Aluminium Tig welding is essential.
• Ability to read and follow drawings.
• Fabricate and install various components.
• Experience with mechanical fitting desirable.
• Experience with CNC machine and Press Brake operation a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and able to work in a team environment also unsupervised.
• Honesty, Strong communication & work ethic with full working rights in Australia.
• Focus on safety.
