Who we are

Workforce Extensions Bendigo (Healthcare) offer casual and ongoing placements for healthcare workers in Residential Aged Care facilities across Bendigo and the Loddon Mallee. The team at Workforce Extensions Bendigo (Healthcare) bring many years of experience in healthcare and in recruitment solutions, and will provide you with the best result for your temporary nursing and carer requirements for your Aged Care facility.

We are the only Nursing Agency based in Central Victoria. Workforce Extensions Bendigo (Healthcare) is owned and operated by residents of Bendigo and surrounds – we are locals committed to caring for locals.

Staffing Services

We provide an in-depth temp staffing service and fill assignments from one shift to several weeks.

We have a growing database of Registered Nurses, Endorsed Nurses and Personal Care Workers (PCW), as well as care assistants including RN and EN students who have completed at least one Aged Care placement during their study.

    Director
    Richard Carrabott, Director of Workforce Extensions Bendigo, is a highly skilled security professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He has earned a strong reputation as an expert in the field and is a member of both the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) and the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA). Richard holds qualifications in security risk management and occupational health and safety, demonstrating his commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security. With expertise in all aspects of security, including training, static guard, crowd control, risk management, and patrols, Richard is widely respected in the industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role at Workforce Extensions Bendigo.

    Kathleen Fair joined Workforce Extensions Bendigo in 2022 in order to support the development of Loddon Mallee Health Services. She brings more than three decades of nursing experience with the majority of that in healthcare management including executive leadership. Her experience also covers aged care, teaching, community and all facets of renal nursing. She has a Bachelor of Nursing Science, Master of Business Administration (Health Services), certification in Nephrology Nursing, and is a certified Executive Coach. She has been a part of the Bendigo community since arriving from Canada almost 12 years ago.

    Our Services

    Specialising in Health Services

    We welcome applications from Registered Nurses (general and in charge), Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Workers, and Student Nurses.

    We are currently placing carers and nurses into Bendigo Residential Aged Care facilities, with occasional placements also offered elsewhere in the Loddon Mallee.

    We would love to help place you in a new role if you have:

    – Current working rights in Australia
    – Current registration (RN, EN) or certificate III/IV (PCW), or are a nursing student who has completed at least one Aged Care placement
    – Current police check (or willing to obtain)
    – Current CPR Certificate
    – Current influenza vaccination
    – Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination – including booster (3 doses)
    – Compassion and genuine empathy for the elderly
