Funeral Attendant

## Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Funeral Attendant to join our team in a casual role. The Funeral Attendant will be responsible for providing compassionate support to grieving families and ensuring the smooth execution of memorial services.

## Responsibilities

• Greet and assist mourners at the memorial service
  
• Set up and maintain the funeral home facilities for services
  
• Coordinate with clergy, florists, and other service providers
  
• Assist with the preparation and transportation of the deceased
  
• Provide emotional support and assistance to grieving families
  
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment during events
  
• Handle administrative tasks as needed
  
  ## Qualifications
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to maintain composure and empathy in sensitive situations
  
• Good presentation and organizational skills
  
• Punctual and reliable
  
• Understanding and respect for diverse cultural and religious practices
  
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus
  
• You must have the right to work and live in Australia
  
• Current C class licence
