Stonemason

## Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Stonemason for our Funeral Home. This role provides an opportunity for a dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

## Responsibilities

• Working closely with families to design and create personalized headstones and memorials
  
• Carving and shaping stone to create unique and high-quality monuments
  
• Performing general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds
  
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  
• Assist in the transfer of the deceased from their homes or facilities to the funeral home outside hours on a rotating roster.
  
  ## Day-to-day
  
• Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and create customized designs
  
• Operate stonemasonry equipment and hand tools to shape and finish stone
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
  
• Assist in the transfer of the deceased from their homes or facilities to the funeral home outside hours on a rotating roster.
