Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal products according to job orders and drawings.
- Develop layouts and plan sequences of operations, ensuring quality and precision.
- Assist apprentices and ensure quality standards are met.
- Inspect products for defects, repairing and adjusting as necessary.
- Maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Boilermaking or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years in welding and fabrication; hydraulic and pneumatic experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, committed to learning, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
