An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of Perth's leading road maintenance and asphalt civil contractors. This role will ideally be suited to a fitter that resides North of the River. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of mobile plant machinery and service trucks.
Duties
- Servicing, preventative and breakdown maintenance to a fleet of on and off-highway mobile plant and ancillary equipment - temporary with the outlook to permanency.
- Working on small to medium size Civil-Construction-Roads-Asphalt machinery and associated ancillary equipment applicable to roads construction and maintenance.
- HR A/B Drivers License - Auto Electrical exposure - Confined Spaces Ticket - Police Clearance - Able to pass medical and D&A Screen - Ability to MIG & ARC weld - all looked upon favourably.
- Mainly local work from workshop based in Wangara, with the outlook to perform some field service requirements from time to time. Approximate time away per year will be around 3 months in total - Living Away From Home Allowance and Meal Allowances paid when working away. One paid RDO per month included in remuneration package once full time.
