Aluminium Fabricator

Based in North Geelong, Versatile Windows manufacture and install commercial and residential window systems to a broad customer base in a Victorian wide market. They use the finest materials, and their dedicated team are focused on producing high-end residential and commercial projects.

As part of Versatile's 2024 growth plans WE at Workforce Extensions are proudly supporting the team in seeking a dedicated and quality focussed Aluminium Fabricator to commence on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be largely workshop based in Versatile's new factory and showroom based in Geelong.

By joining a small but growing team the successful applicant will perform a wide variety of duties and be given the opportunity to establish a long term career role.

Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

• Manufacturing of various aluminium door and window frame sections
• Installation of high-end commercial and residential Aluminium windows
• Ensuring precision in measuring, cutting, and punching window frames
• Upholding the standards of safety and quality as per company guidelines
• Ensuring a safe work practice in line with company policies and procedures
• Work individually and also in a team environment

To be considered for this role we are hoping to speak with applicants who have the following skills, attributes and experience;

• Previous experience in a similar fabrication role
• Experience with a wide range of window and door systems

• Ability to read and work off plans and job sheets from V6

• Proactive mindset
• Display pride in their workmanship
• Be reliable with a commitment to achieving individual and team goals

• Previous experience with Alspec / Carinya extrusion
• Previous experience manufacturing flyscreens and security doors
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a sound understanding of the manufacturing and fabrication processes
• Possess a very high attention to detail
• Be well organised with a good work ethic
• Can adapt to a changing work environment

In return the successful applicant will join a fun, high achieving and growing team on a full time basis. Hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm with an attractive salary package with great incentives to be discussed with the successful candidate based on previous experience.
