Assembly Leading Hand

Our valued client, a specialist manufacturer based in Hoppers Crossing is looking to add a senior staff member to their team. Ideally with a background in any of mechanical, fitting, assembly, plumbing or hydraulics this position will offer a great blend of hands on and supervisory responsibilities.

Daily resibilities may include

• Assembly of speciality products from detailed plans
• Lead small teams to achieve collective goals
• Assist leadership team with forecasting and scheduling
• Train and develop new and existing staff members

About you

We are seeking applicants who can commit to full time working hours, show solid punctuality and reliability, work well in small teams and "roll their sleeves up and have a crack". In addition, the following skills and experience are desired;

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• A skill for reading and interpreting plans
• Ability to work in a hands on, physical role
• A background in mechanical, fitting or assembly positions
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Plumbing, electrical or hydraulic knowledge
