Production Worker

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Warehouse Operative to join their growing team in Campbellfield.

The Opportunity:

An innovative and developing business our client, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Bagger, with LF to join the growing warehouse team in Campbellfield starting on Day shift then from temp to perm basis. This job requires someone who is physically fit and able to lift 20kg bags all day with ease and stack onto pallets. Person will be working as part of a 2-man team on the machine. 1 will place empty bags onto the machine, the other will do the pallet stacking. This job rotates every 100 bags to break up the repetition between the 2 guys. You must be available to work, day shift is Monday to Friday 5.30am - 1.30pm. Our client is a global industry leader in the manufacturing of bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing, and protecting products used in the building and construction industries around the world. This is a great opportunity to expand your current skill base. The pay rate will be Dayshift $32.55ph+ Pen+ Super-Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Tasks will include:

• Cycle counts
• Forklift operation
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Helping with production teams with mixing of products
• Manufacturing tasks

Skills and experience:

• Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
• Hold a car License with own reliable transport
• Must have current LF Licence
• Pick and pack and repetitive lifting of product 20kg throughout the shift
• Customer service and attention to detail
• High attention to housekeeping and safety High attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience working within manufacturing environments
