    Business Owner/Operators
    Erin and Adrian commenced operation of the Workforce Extensions (WE) Sunshine Health Aged Care business in March 2020 with the sole objective to serve the residential aged care industry with high-quality registered nurses, enrolled nurses and care staff. This commitment was born from Erin’s extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in various senior leadership roles in Residential Aged Care facilities and her subsequent work with the Aged Care and Quality Commission. Adrian has over twenty years’ experience in business development and the provision of staffing solutions in the Health and Nursing Agency domain. Adrian has a passion for a collaborative approach to staffing solutions and his commitment to customer service and understanding of the industry allows Sunshine Health to customise their services to each client. WE Sunshine Health has since established itself as an industry leader in the servicing of Queensland’s big brand aged care providers and continues to be recognised for exceptional quality staffing solutions for the aged care sector in metropolitan, regional and remote facilities across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

    Amanda leads the Sunshine Health Clinical Education arm of the business with more than 15 years clinical experience in aged care and acute settings from the floor to senior leadership roles. Amanda leads the clinical education team in the definition of industry standard best practice compliance for each sector’s workforce. Our commitment to compliance governs our recruitment of healthcare professionals at the front door across our Aged, Acute and Community Care workforces. Amanda and her team hold more than 45 years’ experience and support WE Sunshine Health staff in realising their career aspirations through comprehensive education and coaching. This support plays a key role in our retention of healthcare staff at the height of a universal shortage, for each business. Amanda and her team monitor and maintain these standards across each workforce to assure our confident provision of healthcare staff is unparalleled to that of our competitors. Amanda’s passion for education and retaining healthcare staff to industry is best showcased in the development of our Novice Nurse Program which fosters senior clinician mentoring across our staffing pools for newly graduated staff to ensure entry to industry is supported and staff are nurtured in their growth and careers.

Karen brings over 30 years of customer service, staff training, and management experience including lived experience as a care provider with more than seven years of care delivery in the aged care sector. Karen’s skills and experience have seen her inform and function in key operational roles from allocations, recruitment, payroll, business development, regional contracting, and branch management before seizing the Recruitment and Compliance Manager opportunity to pursue her passion for healthcare talent acquisition and retention. Karen leads our Recruitment and Compliance Team to ensure we only onboard the best quality healthcare staff and assures that our industry compliance is confirmed at the front door. With lived experience in providing quality care to vulnerable Australians, Karen assures Sunshine Health attract only the best staff for clients, recognising our people are our brand.

    Christina leads the Sunshine Health Community Care team and plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our community-based programs. Christina has more than 25 years’ experience in the delivery of Community Care Services including in the Aged Care and Disability sectors, and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). She has previously worked as a Registered Nurse in the Community Home Care Sector and progressed through to Quality and Service Manager roles. Christina is passionate about the delivery of quality home care services that are tailored to the clients’ unique needs, exceeding expectations in care and support. Christina is deeply committed to advancing and empowering our home care and clinical services for the incredible team at Workforce Extensions Sunshine Health.

    Penny joined the Workforce Extensions Sunshine Health Community Care Services team in 2024. Penny brings many years of experience in homecare and clinical care, and has a strong commitment for care services that are delivered in the Homecare environment. As an Operations Support Manager with clinical expertise in Homecare, Penny plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations while maintaining high standards of care. With a focus on quality, Penny oversees compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. She understands the unique needs of older adults and is committed to the delivery of safe and high-quality services.
